Max Schwartz is an Analyst at Fairmount Partners. He joined the firm in 2026.

 

Experience:

Prior to joining Fairmount, Max served as an Analyst in Webster Bank’s Middle Market group, where he
evaluated and underwrote financing transactions for middle-market companies and private equity-backed
sponsors. His experience includes financial modeling, valuation, credit analysis, and transaction structuring
across leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, and other corporate financing transactions. Prior to Webster, Max
worked at First Republic Bank, where he underwrote securities-backed lending transactions for high-networth clients and complex ownership structures.

Education: 

Max Schwartz earned his B.A. in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College, where he was a member of
the varsity baseball team. He is currently pursuing his M.B.A. at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of
Business.
