Dr. Cecilia Gleason specializes in mergers and acquisitions and capital raises for middle-market companies, primarily for the pharmaceutical outsourced services, healthcare, and biotechnology industries.

Experience:

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Cecilia has completed 90+ transactions in the pharma services space.  She focuses on the contract manufacturing (CDMO) and laboratory services sectors of the market, and her clients include founder/owners, businesses sponsored by private equity, and publicly-held pharma services companies. Cecilia has completed transactions in all areas of investment banking, including several private and public offerings.

 

Prior to joining Fairmount, Cecilia was an assistant vice president within the corporate finance healthcare groups of Investec Inc. and its predecessor, PMG Capital Corp. Prior to investment banking, Cecilia was a finance associate for Pfizer Inc.'s Animal Health Group, and also worked within the environmental consulting division of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).

Education:

Cecilia Gleason received her Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the University of Virginia, her M.B.A. from the University of Virginia's Colgate Darden School of Business Administration, and her B.A. from the University of Virginia, where she was an Echols Scholar.
