Andy Brown is responsible for originating and executing middle-market investment banking transactions. He has over twelve years of experience providing financial and strategic advisory services to growing middle-market companies. While his clients have come from a diverse range of industries, Andy focuses on the business services sector, specifically business and information technology services (inclusive of staffing and related professional HR services), as well as outsourced healthcare and pharmaceutical services.
Notable recent transactions include advising BioBridges in their sale to The Adecco Group, ALKU in their minority recapitalization with WestView Capital, Infusion in their sale to Avanade (Accenture), Inspirage in their majority recapitalization with Riordan, Lewis & Haden Equity Partners, and Artech’s acquisition of the Talent and Technology Solutions business interest of CDI Corporation.
Andy has completed numerous cross-border transactions with clients and/or counterparties in England, Ireland, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, India and Canada. Mr. Brown has been a key member of deal teams that have executed 45+ transactions, representing more than $1.5 billion in aggregate value. Andy joined Fairmount as an analyst in October of 2005.
Prior to joining Fairmount, Andy spent five years as vice president of operations for the QuoteScout Corporation, an online technology development and insurance marketing services firm.
Andy Brown received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia. He is registered with FINRA and is Series 7-, 63-, and 79- licensed.
