Laura Bilazarian is an associate at Fairmount Partners.

Prior to joining Fairmount, Ms. Bilazarian was a senior associate at VinaCapital, the largest publicly-listed group of funds in Vietnam. Before VinaCapital, she was an analyst at a leading New York restructuring investment bank, where she focused on bankruptcies and restructurings, divestitures and middle-market merger and acquisitions, and assisted in raising over $7bn for client companies.  

Ms. Bilazarian was previously an analyst at Fairmount, where she participated in private placements and mergers and acquisitions across a variety of industries including telecom, software, and healthcare. She also has worked as an independent M&A consultant for a telecom services company. Ms. Bilazarian began her career as an underwriter of D&O Insurance at AIG.

Ms. Bilazarian earned her B.S. in economics, with concentrations in finance and information systems, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
