Charles N. Eckert is a director at Fairmount Partners, with more than 30 years of corporate finance and investment banking experience. Mr. Eckert specializes in structuring leveraged acquisitions and buyouts, arranging debt and equity financings, and handling merger and acquisition transactions. He works with clients in a broad range of industries involved in the producing, processing, packaging, and/or retailing of consumer goods (e.g., apparel, food and pharmaceuticals) as well as the manufacturing of industrial products (e.g., chemicals, controls, fasteners and filters).

Prior to joining Fairmount, he worked as managing director at Shipley Raidy Capital Partners, LP; vice president at CoreStates Investment Banking (and its predecessor Philadelphia Capital Advisors); senior financing specialist at Sun Company, Inc.; and treasury coordinator at Conoco, Inc.

Mr. Eckert received his M.B.A. from Stanford University and his B.A. in economics from Wesleyan University. He is a member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
