Completes 79 Tower Deal with SBA Communications

Penna. – Aug 2, 2006 – Horvath Communications Towers, which owns 79
towers in several Midwest and Eastern metropolitan areas, has
successfully completed its sale to SBA Communications. Fairmount
Partners advised Horvath Communications Towers and its principals in the
transaction.
Horvath Communications Towers, based in South Bend, Indiana, is a
partnership formed by the principals of Horvath Communications and
Memphis-based Tower Ventures to develop and operate wireless
communications towers for wireless carriers. Jackie Horvath has
established Horvath Communications as a leading developer and manager of
sites in the greater Indiana and Chicagoland region.
Tower Ventures, based in Memphis, Tennessee, is a tower developer with
an outstanding track record of building wireless infrastructure for
carriers and operating successful tower portfolios. The group, led by
managing partner Billy Orgel, has developed over 300 towers during its
history.
